How to ping your server on windows or a Mac

1. In Windows, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.

 

2. Now at the Command Prompt, type ping your server IP and hit enter (ie: ping 208.115.114.194)

3. To copy the output, right click the window and select “select all”.

 

4. Hit enter (this will copy all the selected information)

 

If you are using a Mac or Linux the steps are pretty much the same you just need to open Terminal and type in the same commands.

 

You can now paste that info into your support ticket and send it to us.
