Performing a traceroute on Windows or a Mac

1. In Windows, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.

 

2. Now at the Command Prompt, type tracert your server IP and hit enter (ie: tracert 192.169.44.134 )

 

3. To copy the output, right click the window and select “select all”.

 

4. Hit enter (this will copy all the selected information)

 

If you are using a Mac or Linux you need to open Terminal.

After Terminal is open type traceroute your server IP and hit enter (ie:  traceroute 192.169.44.134 )

 

You can now paste that info into your support ticket and send it to us.
